Love in 10 Lines

The lovely Angie at Family Love Does More has presented a poetry challenge.

Love in 10 Lines

Paternal love eluded.

Maternal love exalted.

Love awakened by attraction.

Love promised in commitment.

Love united in marriage.

Love expanded with children.

Love thrived in family.

Love lost in tragedy.

Love confused with pain.

Love regained for eternity.

I dedicate this to my Dad. I was about to turn 30.  I asked him “When did you realize that you were a grownup? ” His response  “Any day now, girl, any day now.”

    Oh, Van. Yes.

Thank you for sharing your love poem. I’m in awe and so privileged to know you.

I’m printing this right now. I’ll find a good home for it…hang it as a reminder…of the process and goal of life.

  2. Vanessence says:

    That was awesome. 🙂
