3 Day Quote Challenge Day 1

Thanks so much to the lovely and talented Edwina for the nomination. I recently discovered Edwina’s very creative and interesting blog. Episode 368: 3 Day Quote Challenge: Day 3.  For the first day, I’ve chosen a segment of a song from Marvin Gaye.Marvin Gaye

The song is “What’s Going On”. Released in May, 1971.

It seems appropriate in light of the tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina, which happened just about 24 hours ago, and has had me heartbroken all day. It was my home for 4 years. I have a lot more to say, but not now. For now…”only love can conquer hate.”

“Mother, mother There’s too many of you crying Brother, brother, brother There’s far too many of you dying You know we’ve got to find a way To bring some lovin’ here today.”
