It was a day full of “S” words when Nutsrok met up with Van by the River.
Summer.
Sunshine.
Smiles.
Suburbs.
SEPTA Stations.
Strangers on a train.
S.O.S. (That’s creamed chipped beef, but we all know its other name)
Smoked Salmon.
Starbucks.
Silly Shopping.
Silverware.
Straw hats.
Sharing.
Serial killers ?
Storytelling.
Special.
Still Smiling.
You looked like you had a great day! 🙂
For sure, it was wonderful ! Thanks. ☺
Awesome!
My face hurt from laughing/smiling. ☺
Didn’t know you ladies were also models..:)
Not sure the consignment store staff thought so, George, but we sure had fun playing with the hats. ☺ Thanks for the compliment.
What fun Van! ❤
Diana xo
It was a riot, Diana. It was the first time either of us had met blogger friends in real life. I’d love it if we had a major summit, like they’re doing in London. Some day. ☺
I love reading stories about bloggers meeting up with other bloggers. I know how exciting it is to finally meet that person who writes those wonderful posts I’ve been enjoying. When I finally win the lottery (or write that best-selling book), I will make plans to visit each and every blogger I so admire.
It seemed like we had known each other for a very long time. Funny how much info we take from our writing. It was special. Thanks, CM. ☺
Awesome! You both look like lots of fun!
It was a summit of smiles, for sure. Thanks. ☺
Looks like fun 🙂
We both were looking forward to it for a while now…it did not disappoint, Sue. ☺☺
I don’t think Saturday’s Blogger’s bash will either 🙂 🙂
I’m sure it will be wonderful. Hoping that we can do something like it here in the U.S. Will be watching !! ☺
There will be tweeting and the awards announced on FB too… still time to vote 🙂
Yep…already voted, I think on a few bloggers posts…not sure how that will work, but the votes did register ???
You’d have to check with Sacha how that works 🙂 me, I know nothing 🙂
Simply sensational! Van, you two look singularly splendificent in unison. Thanks for sharing your meeting with Nutsrok with us all, my good friend. Bravo!
So many S words in your comment…thanks for playing along, Mark. ☺
Oh, I can’t help myself, Van. You know me. 🙂
Love the pictures. Looks like a fun day with a touch of… Silliness! 😀
So much spontaneous silliness, Diana, it was superb !! Thanks ☺
You seem to have forgotten…SEXY. 😀
Woo hooooo !! Such a satisfsying sentiment, thanks Julie !!
This is just fabulous that the two of you got to meet up! It looks like you had a marvelous time!!! ❤
We have shared some of the same life issues and circumstances, just from different geographies. It was fun to meet IRL, Colleen. I wish it for many other bloggers. ☺
Oh, I agree. Sometimes life just gets too much in the way. ❤
Van, sensational, stupendous, stunning photos of your more than satisfying meet up with Linda! It sounds as if it was serious good time! Love the hats! Sometimes you just have to join in the silliness of the Ss…Christine
Love your S silliness, Christine, thanks for joining in…it was a splendid, satisfying situation…for sure !! ☺☺
Soo Sweet, Van!
Super summary of a swell “selebration!” 🙂
Thanks, Nina, for joining in, and for your sweet submission ! ☺
I bet you had a fantastic day! Maybe next time you could add Strayya to your S list… (local word for Australia…) 😉
Super…never heard Strayya before…seems to make sense, skipping the L…..sweet ! ☺
Simply Stunning, The scintillating Van stirred me with stories and silliness from start to finish! It was the most fun I’ve had in a long, long time. Now I will post my response!

Serial killer warning…lol. ☺☺
This is just so adorable! I was intending on commenting here when I had more time and then forgot about it until I saw it re-blogged. You both look so cute in your hats! So sweet to be able to meet in person! You look like you had a great time together!
Thanks, Kelly. It was a special day, and the first blogger meet up for us both. There were no pauses in the conversation !! ☺
I’ll bet! Did you feel like you just knew her all along?
For sure, we had both said that from the time we started following each others blog. I’m always amazed at how much you can learn about a person from their writing. She asked me early on if I was her Doppelganger. So much in common. ❤️
That’s so wonderful!
Brilliant! Two lovely ladies who are such fun, You must have had a riot together! 🙂
We did indeed, Judy, it was like meeting a friend from long ago. Thanks. ☺
I am sure it was, 🙂
The two of you look like sisters–not in features, but in expressions. What a great moment, when instant friends finally meet : )
Thanks O.B. Smile Sisters ! ☺
You really do look like sister’s. Linda is certainly one of the finest people I’ve had the pleasure to meet through WordPress.
I agree, Robert, even more lovely (and funny) in person. ☺ Thanks
I got a picture of her new Granddaughter this morning. I see the same peace in her face as I see in Linda’s.
I saw that as well,Robert, that baby is blessed. Just wait till she gets to know her Grandma. ☺
Yes…she is a lucky child–I’m happy for her.
