When called upon to tell her story, Alice asks “Where do I begin?”
The King has the perfect answer.
From the 1865 classic, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, it might be the best advice for a writer, ever.
With thanks to Lewis Carroll, and to Rob for the challenge…
Great quote….. 💞
Thanks so much. I really like it. 💘
Great quote, Van!
Thanks so much, Rob. 💖 And thanks for the challenge…always fun for me. ☺
Sometimes the story is so complex and convoluted between the beginning and the end that you honestly don’t know how to tell it. And if you don’t have patient listening ears in telling that long tale, it won’t be told. Hope you have a great day, Van!!! ❤
Thanks, Amy. You do the very same. Stay cool. ☀️
Ha ha. Lovely advice from the king. It’s not as complicated as we make it sometimes 🙂
Very true.💝 signed, the over-thinker. ☺
Ha ha ha. 🙂
Fantastic quote, Van! 🙂
Thanks, Tonya ☺

I remember hearing about his, on the 150th anniversary of the book. Sadly, it wouldn’t surprise me. Let’s hope his obsession with Alice was indeed repressed. Thanks for the link. ☺
I don’t think it was repressed. Look at the faces of the little girls! Also remember what Alice Liddell said about her memories?
Seems pretty simple to be..:) but we all know it’s not.
For sure. ☺
Good choice!
Thanks, M. ☺
Nice one
Thanks, Lynn. ☺
Indeed…
